Dutch artist designs cards against war in Chechnya

The Dutch artist Colin Peters has designed a pack of cards against the war in Chechnya. The pack, titled "Theatre of Pain" is a graphic icon of the macabre power play occuring in the Caucasus. A brutal, political conflict between Moscow and Grozny, without end. "Theatre of Pain" is a European card game, wherein the traditional high cards, such as the Queen, the King, the Jack, are transformed into sinister figures of this ongoing struggle.
